The School

St Dominic’s School, Judged as “Good” by Ofsted, is a weekly boarding and day school catering for up to 110 pupils and students between the ages of 7 and 19 who have a range of academic abilities and with complex special needs including ASD and Speech and language communication difficulties.

St Dominic's is a wonderful school which offers a truly multi-disciplinary approach which welcomes and celebrates difference and individuality.   Teachers work collaboratively with therapists and residential care staff to enhance the learning process and provide an exciting waking day curriculum. Staff work together to provide a blended approach to therapeutic and educational input, contextually, both within individual lessons and across the school as a whole.

Due to an increase in pupil and student numbers we are looking to recruit a number of support staff for various roles within the School to work with the Pupils and Students.

Working alongside teachers, therapists and other support staff, you will provide support to groups and individuals.  You will help to improve their engagement in learning, remove barriers to learning, improve attainment and promote their self-confidence and emotional well-being.
