As a Learning Mentor you will provide support to groups or individual pupils and students to improve their engagement in learning, remove barriers to learning, improve attainment and promoting their self-confidence and emotional well-being.

Our special school enables individuals to gain experience and understanding of Special Educational Needs through employment and being supported towards and through the teacher training process.
- Be part of a creative, dynamic and innovative whole staff team committed to improving outcomes for pupils and students
- Work in collaboration with other team members to develop strategies to improve learning and inclusion.
- Provide support to groups or individual pupils and students to improve their engagement in learning, remove barriers to learning, improve attainment, and promoting their self-confidence and emotional well-being.
- Work alongside teachers, therapists and other support staff to provide an exciting waking day curriculum for pupils and students.
The ideal candidate will have experience working with children, preferably in an educational setting, and possess a GCSE or equivalent in Maths and English and a relevant NVQ Level 3 or a willingness to work towards this.
