Parent Forum
St Dominic’s recognises the importance of developing good working relationships with parents and families. The School has an active Parent Forum group, which supports the school and acts as a consultative and fund raising link between parents, staff and governors. The Forum meets on the last day of each half term in the school chapel. Parents and guardians of all current pupils are always welcome to attend. The Forum has an elected committee with each school year having a parent representative, who liaises with parents in that year.
In addition some parents are willing for their contact details (names, email and location) to be circulated on a mailing list to other parents so that they can make contact with each other, for example in the holidays. The Parent Forum has its own parent contact list. All parents are invited to voluntarily provide their contact details to the Parent Forum Secretary. This list is shared with all parents on the list. The contact list is used by the Parent Forum to send Parent Forum related communications. It also allows parents to make contact with each other.
