Admissions
St Dominic’s is one of a group of schools under the Trusteeship of the Sisters of the Sacred Hearts of Jesus and Mary. However, applications are not restricted by religion and the school welcomes children of all beliefs and backgrounds. Places at the school are funded by Local Education Authorities and applications are accepted from LEAs throughout the country.
Applications are normally made through the LEA in whose area the family reside. St Dominic’s currently admits children from over 35 different LEAs. Pupils can be admitted to St Dominic’s School following:
-
A referral from their LEA,

a multi-disciplinary assessment by the school Assessment Team, and
-
the acceptance by the LEA of the placement offer and responsibility for the termly fees.
OR:
A decision at a Tribunal that St Dominic’s School will provide for a child’s Special Eduational Needs.
